Ashanya Dwivedi, the grieving widow of Shubham Dwivedi, who was killed in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces after Operation Sindoor's retaliatory strikes. Calling the precision strikes a “real tribute” to her husband, Ashanya stated, “Wherever my husband is, he will be at peace today.”
Shubham Dwivedi, a Kanpur native, had married on February 12, 2025, and was honeymooning in Pahalgam's Baisaran Valley when terrorists gunned him down. His ashes were immersed in Sangam, Prayagraj, on May 3.
Operation Sindoor struck nine terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, delivering a decisive response to the attack that killed 26 civilians.
Ashanya's words echo the sentiment of millions: justice has been served. With Operation Sindoor, India honoured not just the fallen but reinforced its resolve to confront terrorism decisively, leaving no room for impunity.
