Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), holding them responsible for Bihar’s longstanding underdevelopment. Speaking at a rally in Siwan, PM Modi accused the two parties of “decades of corruption and neglect” that left the state in a deplorable condition.
During his visit, Modi laid the foundation stones for projects worth over ₹5,900 crore, aimed at boosting infrastructure, connectivity, and job creation in the region. He emphasized that under his leadership, Bihar is receiving the attention and funding it was long denied.
"This is not just a foundation of projects - it’s the foundation of a new future for Bihar", Modi declared, drawing applause from the crowd. The projects include national highway expansions, water supply schemes, and rural development programs.
With Bihar headed toward upcoming elections, the Prime Minister’s remarks are being seen as both a development pitch and a strong political message aimed at opposition strongholds in the state.
