The IBPS PO 2025 cycle has officially opened, with notifications released on June 30 and online registration starting July 1. Candidates have until July 21 to sign up for one of the 5,208 Probationary Officer/Management Trainee positions across 11 public sector banks.

Eligibility requirements are straightforward: applicants must be between 20–30 years old as of July 1, 2025, with age relaxations available for reserved categories. A graduate degree from a recognized university is mandatory. Good financial standing and character are also prerequisites.

The selection process includes a three-tiered structure:

  1. Preliminary exam (objective test)

  2. Mains exam (objective + descriptive)

  3. Personality test (interview)
Final allotment will be based on cumulative scores. Additionally, SC/ST/OBC candidates may qualify for pre-exam training.

Application fees are ₹850 for general/OBC and ₹175 for SC/ST/PwBD applicants. Strong mathematical, logical reasoning, and language skills are recommended preparation areas. The exam schedule includes Prelims in August, Mains in October, and interviews soon after.

With registrations now open and a significant number of vacancies on offer, aspirants are advised to apply promptly and begin structured preparation.
