Adityanath also criticized past political failures, stating: “We do not lack warriors, glory, or intellect, but at that time, some individuals divided the country for their interests, leading to its enslavement.” He emphasized that India’s strength lies in unity and resolve, not political divisions.

His remarks triggered mixed responses—supporters cheered the commemoration of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the emphasis on military readiness, while critics questioned the accuracy of the "22 minutes" claim.
