Pant hits Career-high in ICC Rankings after Stellar knock!

Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has achieved his career-best Test ranking, climbing to No. 7 in the latest ICC Men's Test rankings released this week. His impressive performance in the recent Test against England, where he scored a blazing century, helped boost his standing among the world’s elite.

Pant’s fearless strokeplay and consistent scoring have made him a standout in India’s red-ball lineup. He now joins the top 10 Test batters globally, a space dominated by the likes of Kane Williamson, Joe Root, and Steve Smith.

Shubman Gill also saw a sharp rise in the rankings following his recent knock of 147, pushing him up the list and solidifying his place as India’s next-generation batting star.

On the English side, Ben Duckett made waves with a ranking surge of his own after a brisk hundred, climbing to No. 18.

India now boasts two rising stars in the Test top tier - clear signs of a powerful transition phase for the team.
