Bengaluru recently witnessed a vibrant confluence of art, music, and dialogue at an event organized by Art Mantram, led by former Karnataka DGP Jija Hari Singh. The gathering marked the unveiling of the master plan for the upcoming DrishyAM Art Village near the city, aiming to foster cultural engagement and community spirit.
The evening featured a compelling conversation between Bose Krishnamachari, co-founder of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, and Padma Shri awardee Prashanth Prakash. Renowned musician and environmentalist Ricky Kej graced the event as the guest of honour.
Adding a unique culinary twist, attendees experienced a 'palette to palate' dinner, where dishes were inspired by famous artists and their masterpieces, blending gastronomy with visual arts. The event also included an art auction, further emphasizing the integration of various art forms.
Musical ensemble MoonArra delivered a live performance, enriching the evening with their fusion of jazz, Indian classical, and world music, resonating with the event's theme of cultural amalgamation.
