Can snabbit use Zepto’s blueprint for domestic help?

Snabbit, founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal (former Zepto Chief of Staff), is building what quick commerce companies like Zepto did for groceries but for domestic help: cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, basic home tasks. Their promise: book anything from 10 minutes ahead to three days, with trained and verified helpers ("experts"), fixed pricing and fast service.
Key strengths: hyperlocal deployment (placing service professionals close to demand zones to ensure speed), full-stack operations (recruitment, background checks, training, quality feedback loops), and backing from strong investors like Lightspeed, Elevation Capital, Nexus Ventures. They are also pushing worker welfare: many “experts” come from informal backgrounds; Snabbit is formally onboarding them with better pay (e.g. up to ~₹40,000 a month on longer shifts), identity verification, training and clear accountability.
Challenges remain, though. Operating instant-home help requires density: having enough demand in small areas so that helpers are never too idle. The costs of onboarding, training, and maintaining high trust (background checks, safety) are higher than many quick commerce models. Also competition is heating up: players like Urban Company and Pronto are moving into “instant help” models.
In sum, Snabbit has many pieces of the Zepto playbook: speed, local presence, tech, funding. If it can scale supply density, manage costs, and maintain trust and quality, it stands a strong chance of formalising what has long been an informal, fragmented industry.
