Chalet Hotels Limited has officially become the first hospitality brand in India to meet the Climate Group’s EV100 commitment. As part of EV100, Chalet pledged in 2021 to switch its entire vehicle fleet to electric and roll out adequate EV charging infrastructure across all its properties by 2025.

Now, with those goals fulfilled—100% electric vehicles and full charging support in its hotels—the company has hit its target well ahead of time. 

This move aligns with Chalet’s broader aim of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2040, and supports India’s national and international climate and e-mobility goals. Leadership at Chalet emphasises that this is more than a sustainability checkbox—it’s about lower emissions, better air quality, and a more responsible guest experience. The achievement sets a benchmark for the hospitality sector, showing that green mobility and sustainable operations are feasible at scale.
