Fireback Introduces Mumbai to Authentic Thai Cuisine

Renowned chef David Thompson, celebrated for his expertise in Thai cuisine, has brought his culinary mastery to Mumbai with the opening of Fireback. Known for his Michelin-starred restaurants like Nahm in Bangkok, Thompson aims to present Mumbai diners with an authentic Thai dining experience that goes beyond the usual offerings.

Fireback's menu features dishes that highlight the complexity and balance inherent in Thai cooking. One standout is the khmoy green curry, a robust and spicy dish made with heart of palm, baby corn, and cauliflower, served alongside fragrant jasmine rice. This version deviates from the typical coconut milk-based curries found in many restaurants, offering a more traditional taste that reflects the depth of Thai flavors.

Thompson emphasizes that Thai cuisine is not solely about spiciness but about achieving harmony among various taste elements. Fireback aims to cater to a wide range of palates, ensuring that even those new to Thai food can find dishes to enjoy. The restaurant's ambiance, combined with its commitment to authenticity, makes it a noteworthy addition to Mumbai's culinary scene.
