In a world where skincare shelves are brimming with products, sometimes the best solutions are found right in your kitchen. Livemint recently highlighted five DIY face masks using everyday ingredients that promise to rejuvenate your skin naturally.

 

Honey & Avocado Mask for Hydration

 

This mask combines the moisturizing properties of honey with the nourishing fats of avocado. Mash a ripe avocado and mix it with honey to form a creamy paste. Apply it to clean skin, leave it on for 15–20 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water to reveal a hydrated glow.

 

Yoghurt & Turmeric Mask for Glow

 

Turmeric's anti-inflammatory benefits paired with yoghurt's lactic acid can brighten the complexion. Mix plain yoghurt with a small pinch of turmeric powder, apply to the face and neck (avoiding the eye area), let it sit for 10–15 minutes, and rinse off for a radiant finish.

 

Oatmeal & Honey Mask for Exfoliation

 

Oatmeal gently exfoliates while honey soothes the skin. Blend oatmeal powder with honey to create a smooth paste. Massage it onto your skin in circular motions, leave for 10–15 minutes, and rinse to remove dead skin cells and impurities.

 

Egg White & Honey Mask for Tightening

 

Egg whites can help tighten the skin, and honey adds moisture. Whisk an egg white until frothy, mix in some honey, apply to the face and neck, leave for 15–20 minutes, and rinse with lukewarm water for a firmer feel.

 

Banana & Coconut Oil Mask for Nourishment

 

Bananas are rich in vitamins, and coconut oil provides deep moisturization. Mash a ripe banana and blend it with a teaspoon of coconut oil until smooth. Apply on the face and neck for 15–20 minutes, then rinse with warm water to nourish and moisturize the skin.
