Atomberg Technologies, a consumer appliances brand started by IIT Bombay graduates Manoj Meena and Sibabrata Das, posted a 20 % rise in operating revenue to ₹958.4 crore in FY25, up from ₹796.9 crore the year before, according to company filings — marking another year of robust growth for the Mumbai-headquartered startup. The company also cut its net loss by about 41 % to ₹117.4 crore, reflecting more disciplined cost control and efficiency gains even as expenses grew with scale.
Founded in 2012 as a technology venture, Atomberg pivoted to the consumer market with energy-efficient BLDC fans and gradually diversified into mixer grinders, smart locks and other appliances, helping it carve out space in a crowded industry dominated by legacy players. Its products are sold both online and increasingly through offline retail channels.
The firm has raised over $150 million from investors like Temasek and Steadview Capital, using capital to fund product development, inventory and broader distribution. Despite not yet profitable, improving margins and strong brand traction have strengthened the company’s financial footing. Atomberg is reportedly preparing for an IPO, aiming to bolster growth further and expand its product portfolio. With continued focus on innovation and reach, the startup is positioning itself as a notable Indian contender in home appliances.
