Meta Platforms today unveiled Vibes, a new AI-powered video feed that invites users to create, remix, and share short AI-generated videos. The feature will be integrated into the Meta AI mobile app and accessible via the meta.ai website starting Thursday.
With Vibes, users can initiate videos from scratch, use content they already own, or remix existing clips from the feed by adding visuals, music, or applying stylistic changes. Once completed, videos may be shared within Vibes or cross-posted to Instagram and Facebook Stories or Reels.
The platform is part of Meta’s broader push to deepen its generative AI capabilities following a reorganization under its new Superintelligence Labs division. Meta aims to leverage Vibes to expand creative tools, generate new revenue streams (e.g. video ad tools), and strengthen the AI-content loop across its apps.
