Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's LinkedIn profile has gone viral after social media users noticed that he listed his early jobs as a dishwasher, waiter, and busboy at Denny's. The billionaire, now worth $102 billion, worked at the American fast-food chain while growing up in Oregon during the 1980s.
Huang, co-founder and CEO of Nvidia, has often spoken about his modest beginnings. He once shared that his parents were not wealthy but instilled in him the value of hard work. "I used to clean bathrooms, and now I'm a CEO," he remarked during a fireside chat with Stripe CEO Patrick Collison.
Interestingly, Huang's LinkedIn profile does not mention his roles at LSI Logic and AMD, where he worked before founding Nvidia in 1993. The profile skips from 1983 to 1993, the year he launched the company at age 30.
A Denny's outlet holds special significance in Huang’s journey. It was at this diner that he met Chris Malachowsky and Curtis Priem, his co-founders, where the idea of Nvidia was born. His inspiring story continues to resonate with many aspiring entrepreneurs.
