NASA's plan to bring back its stranded crew from the International Space Station (ISS), including astronaut Sunita Williams, faced an unexpected hurdle after SpaceX delayed the rescue mission due to a launch pad issue. The Crew-8 mission, originally scheduled for launch, was halted as engineers detected a technical glitch at Kennedy Space Center, prompting safety concerns.
The delay means the Crew-7 astronauts, including Williams, will have to wait longer for their return to Earth. SpaceX and NASA are working to resolve the issue quickly, but no revised launch date has been announced yet.
This latest delay has raised concerns about crew fatigue and supply management aboard the ISS. Will the stranded astronauts have to extend their stay indefinitely, or will SpaceX find a quick solution?
