National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Friday (July 11, 2025) revealed key details of Operation Sindoor, stating that India successfully targeted 13 air and terror bases across Pakistan with precision, missing none. Speaking at the IIT Madras convocation in Chennai, Doval underscored the technological prowess and strategic readiness of India's armed forces.
Among the targets hit were nine terror bases, signaling a robust message against cross-border terrorism. “We hit all 13 targets we aimed for. Not one was missed,” said Doval, highlighting the surgical accuracy of India’s operations. He credited advancements in India’s defence capabilities and intelligence networks for the operation's success.
Doval’s comments come amidst rising tensions and renewed debate over regional security. While he refrained from sharing operational specifics, his remarks are seen as a strong assertion of India’s security doctrine and willingness to act decisively against external threats.
Operation Sindoor appears to have marked a turning point in India’s counter-terror strategy, reinforcing deterrence through demonstrable action.
