This challenge inspired Matri, a menstrual wellness startup founded by Roni Mondal and Rohan Roy. The brand developed Matri Pro, claimed to be India’s slimmest device designed to reduce menstrual cramps using TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) technology.

The device offers both wired and wireless modes, 30 intensity levels for personalised relief, and reusable gel pads that can be used multiple times. It is lightweight, portable, and built for everyday convenience.

Matri gained national attention after appearing on Shark Tank India Season 3, highlighting its mission to bring science-based solutions to menstrual health.

The brand aims to reduce stigma around periods while helping women manage pain without depending on medicines.
