Dhivya Sashidhar, the wife of Rippling co-founder and Indian tech billionaire Prasanna Sankar, has accused him of multiple disturbing behaviors that contradict his public claims of being a wronged husband. While Sankar previously alleged that Sashidhar had an affair and used this to sway public opinion in a custody battle over their son, her side of the story paints a darker reality.
According to Sashidhar, Sankar solicited escorts, pressured her into an open marriage, and even spied on her using hidden cameras inside their home. These claims are supported by years of emails, texts, court filings, and photographs reviewed by The San Francisco Standard. One email reveals Sankar admitting to reaching out to prostitutes and later requesting an open relationship. Though he acknowledged sending the email, he claimed it was written in a moment of anger and that both agreed not to proceed with such an arrangement.
Sashidhar described her marriage as a nightmare, claiming she was moved from country to country—including a forced relocation to Singapore—as Sankar allegedly tried to evade taxes and assert control. She also said he demanded sex shortly after childbirth and threatened infidelity if she refused.
While employed with Microsoft and working remotely, Sashidhar says Sankar coerced her into taking time off for his sexual demands. After losing her job in Singapore, she claimed he immersed himself in a lifestyle of indulgence, engaging with prostitutes and high-society groups. The ongoing legal battle continues to reveal details of their troubled relationship.
