Prof. KG Suresh appointed Director of India Habitat Centre

The India Habitat Centre (IHC) announced the appointment of veteran journalist and academician Prof KG Suresh as its new Director. With an illustrious career spanning journalism, education, and institution building, Prof Suresh previously served as Vice-Chancellor of the Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communications, Bhopal and as Director General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC).
Expressing his excitement, Prof Suresh said he aims to leverage collective expertise at IHC to promote sustainable development, community building, and intellectual discourse. Calling IHC a "unique blend of cultural, intellectual, and creative pursuits," he envisions the institution becoming a premier think tank on socio-cultural and economic issues.
Known for his contributions to journalism, Prof Suresh also serves on the jury for the prestigious Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards. His appointment marks a new chapter in IHC's journey toward thought leadership and innovation.
