Rain alert! thunderstorms predicted in Delhi tomorrow.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that Delhi will experience rain and thunderstorms tomorrow, July 29, 2025. This weather change is expected to bring much-needed relief from the recent heatwave, with temperatures likely to drop due to cloud cover and consistent rainfall.

The forecast indicates light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, particularly during the morning and evening hours. Residents are advised to carry umbrellas and plan their commutes accordingly, as the weather may cause traffic disruptions and waterlogging in low-lying areas.

This shift in weather is attributed to a low-pressure system moving from northwest Madhya Pradesh toward northeast Rajasthan, combined with an active monsoon trough positioned just south of Delhi and a western disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir. These conditions are expected to bring moderate showers to Delhi and parts of Haryana.
