After 18 years of unwavering dedication, Virat Kohli finally lifted his maiden IPL trophy with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who defeated Punjab Kings by six runs in the IPL 2025 final at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

Kohli, a cornerstone of RCB since its inception, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, calling the victory "absolutely worth the wait."

He thanked fans for standing by the team through years of heartbreak and hailed the squad for making the dream possible. “This one is for every inch of effort left on the field playing for this team,” he wrote.

The team will celebrate their first-ever title with a massive trophy parade in Bengaluru on June 4. The event begins at Vidhan Soudha at 3:30 pm, followed by celebrations at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium from 5:30 pm. Fans across the state are expected to join the historic celebration.
