Start early, Land Strong: Smart Prep for College Placements!

Securing a coveted college placement begins well before the final year - and the recent NDTV guide “How To Prepare For College Placements Early” lays out a smart roadmap.

First, understand the typical selection rounds: aptitude tests, group discussions, technical interviews and HR rounds. Base your preparation on core subjects, problem-solving skills, and programming fundamentals, especially if your field demands it.

Communication matters hugely. Practice English speaking, Group Discussions, and mock interviews to build confidence. Simultaneously, enhance your resume by working on coding projects, online internships, and tools like Excel, SQL or Power BI.

Your CV should be concise - one page with clean layout, authentic achievements and no exaggerations. Also, build a strong online presence via LinkedIn profiles, GitHub repositories, or design portfolios to showcase your work.

Treat placement preparation as a marathon, not a sprint: set weekly goals for aptitude practice, coding challenges and mock tests, stay consistent, and maintain a growth mindset.
