India reports over 1.8 million new stroke cases every year, and many survivors struggle with long-term arm and shoulder disability. Access to regular rehabilitation is still limited, especially outside big cities.
Founded in 2017 by Sreehari KG and Habib Ali, BeAble Health is trying to change that. Their device, ArmAble, turns stroke therapy into interactive games that encourage patients to repeat arm movements in a fun, engaging way. The system enables up to 10 times more repetitions than traditional sessions - a key factor in rebuilding brain connections after stroke.
Alongside it, BeOne, a cloud-based platform, connects therapists, patients, and caregivers. It allows remote monitoring, tele-rehabilitation, and real-time progress tracking.
By combining hardware and digital care, the startup is making neuro-rehabilitation more accessible, data-driven, and scalable - helping bridge India’s urban-rural healthcare gap and giving stroke survivors a better chance at recovery.
