In May 2025, a startup from Kolkata called Picklebay launched India’s first all-in-one platform for pickleball players. Founded by Siddhant Jatia, the platform helps users discover verified courts, join tournaments, and connect with the growing pickleball community.

Picklebay already lists over 225 venues and 600+ courts across six major cities including Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Chennai. What makes it different? The team personally visits each court to verify facilities like lighting, parking, and washrooms. This ensures players get reliable and accurate information.

It also runs the Picklebay India Tour, a tech-enabled national tournament series. The platform provides live scores, digital fixtures, and updates—all in real-time. Over 500 people attended the Mumbai and Kolkata events, and matches were completed ahead of time.

In just two months, 1,100 users have signed up. The platform is growing rapidly, with plans to introduce online court booking, player matchmaking, skill tracking, and AI-based analytics by the end of 2025.

Picklebay aims to become the go-to destination for everything pickleball in India, blending technology and sports to create a seamless playing experience.
