₹1.17L for a once-in-a-lifetime Ram trail across India! IRCTC leads the way

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is conducting its 5th special Ramayana train tour since the Ram temple's inauguration in Ayodhya. Starting July 25, 2025, the "Shri Ramayana Yatra" will cover over 30 destinations associated with Lord Ram across a 17-day journey.

The tour begins from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station and includes Ayodhya, Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Janakpur, Buxar, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Nashik, Hampi, and Rameshwaram before returning to Delhi. The fully air-conditioned Bharat Gaurav Deluxe train features modern amenities including two restaurants, shower cubicles, and enhanced security.

Tour packages range from Rs 1,17,975 for 3AC to Rs 1,79,515 for 1AC coupe, covering accommodation in 3-star hotels, vegetarian meals, transfers, and sightseeing. IRCTC officials report encouraging response from previous tours, capitalizing on increased religious tourism following the temple's inauguration.
