With UPI support, ChatGPT Go is here with only Rs. 399!

OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Go its most affordable subscription tier yet exclusively in India for just ₹399 per month. Positioned below the ChatGPT Plus and Pro plans, this India-first offering aims to bridge the gap between the free version and premium tiers.

Subscribers gain access to GPT-5, along with significantly improved limits: up to 10× more messages, 10× more image generations, and 10× more file uploads compared to the free tier. Notably, ChatGPT Go includes double the memory, enabling longer and more coherent conversations.

Local users will benefit from UPI payment support, streamlining the payment process through popular apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, and Paytm. Prices are displayed in Indian rupees another step toward localization.

This launch marks a strategic move by OpenAI to reach broader audiences in one of its fastest-growing markets. Students, creators, professionals, and casual users can now access advanced AI tools affordably. Depending on user feedback, ChatGPT Go may serve as a pilot for similar affordable plans in other regions.
