A shocking daylight robbery in Bengaluru's upscale Indiranagar has sparked fear among residents. Around 3:45 pm on Tuesday, a visibly drunk man was caught on CCTV wandering through the neighborhood, attempting to enter multiple homes.

In one such attempt, he slipped through an open door while the homeowner was in the backyard. The man confronted her, threatened violence, and stole ₹25,000 in cash, a OnePlus phone, and three luxury watches. The victim's son, Kenny Carlton, a college student, said his mother fought back with a water bottle, forcing the man to flee.

Though unharmed, the woman and community are deeply shaken. Despite CCTV evidence, no FIR has been filed yet, and the suspect remains at large.

Residents are demanding increased police patrolling and surveillance, expressing fear for the safety of elderly and single women living alone in the area. Authorities say a spot inspection is pending as investigations continue.
