A 46-year-old man died after a three-storey building collapsed in Delhi's Azad Market during the early hours of Friday morning. The victim, identified as Manoj Sharma, was found dead in the debris by rescue teams, according to Delhi Fire Services officials.

Emergency services received the collapse alert at 1:56 am and immediately dispatched rescue teams to the site. The collapsed structure housed multiple commercial shops in the busy market area.

Fire services officials confirmed that search and rescue operations were conducted at the scene. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about building safety in Delhi's densely populated commercial districts, where older structures face structural challenges.
