Delhi University (DU) is set to conduct its on-the-spot mop-up round for undergraduate admissions, aiming to fill approximately 7,500 vacant seats across various colleges. This initiative follows previous rounds where many seats remained unfilled, prompting the university to open this special round.
The registration for this mop-up round was open from 5:00 PM on September 17 to 11:59 PM on September 19, 2025. Unlike earlier rounds, this phase does not consider CUET scores; instead, admissions are based solely on candidates' Class 12 marks or equivalent examination results.
Candidates who registered and meet the eligibility criteria will be invited for the on-the-spot allocation process. Those shortlisted must report in person at the designated colleges, pay the seat acceptance fee immediately, and complete the admission process. It's important to note that once a seat is allotted and accepted, no upgrades or withdrawals will be entertained.
This mop-up round provides a final opportunity for eligible candidates to secure admission into DU's undergraduate programs for the 2025 academic session.
