Foreign Universities helping build a skilled, Globally Competitive India!

In recent years, the entry and collaboration of foreign universities are playing a growing role in shaping India’s skilled workforce. According to the National Skills Development Corporation, institutions such as Harvard Business School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology have been enlisted via employability-programmes to bring international standards of training to Indian learners.

The policy enablers under National Education Policy 2020 and UGC regulations are further opening the door for global campuses and collaborative models within India, offering degrees recognised globally.
Key benefits include improved academic standards, industry-aligned curricula, and reducing brain-drain by allowing students to access foreign-quality education domestically.

By fostering partnerships, these foreign universities are helping bridge India’s skill-gap and equipping graduates for both local and global workplaces. As India positions itself as an education hub, such collaborations could significantly contribute to building a workforce that is globally competitive and future-ready.
