Tennis legend Roger Federer has achieved billionaire status with a net worth of approximately $1.3 billion, joining exclusive company alongside Michael Jordan ($3.5 billion) and Tiger Woods ($1.36 billion). While the 20-time Grand Slam champion earned $130.6 million in prize money during his 24-year career, his wealth primarily stems from strategic sponsorship deals and smart investments.
Federer's most lucrative move was his $300 million, 10-year Uniqlo contract in 2018, replacing his decades-long Nike partnership. However, his smartest investment came through Swiss sneaker brand On, where he owns roughly 3% stake. The company, now valued at $17 billion, makes Federer's stake worth at least $500 million.
Sports analyst Bob Dorfman credits Federer's marketability to being "totally scandal-free," making him one of tennis's most valuable endorsement stars.
