IIM Bangalore, via its digital arm IIMBx, has launched a new FinTech Certificate Programme tailored for early-career professionals and students eager to enter the booming FinTech ecosystem. The initiative operates under Karnataka’s Centre of Excellence in FinTech and is supported by the state government enabling significantly subsidised fees.
The programme unfolds in two phases: a six-month Foundation Certificate followed by a three-month Advanced Certificate, accessible after completing the initial stage. The curriculum—designed by Prof. G. Sabarinathan, a retired faculty from IIMB’s Finance & Accounting group—blends foundational finance, business strategy, product management, regulatory frameworks, and verticals like lending, payments, insurance, and wealth tech. Delivery is entirely online via the IIMBx platform, studied through recorded lectures, live discussions, assignments, and learner support in English and Kannada.
Applications open from August 11 to September 14, 2025, with course launch slated for October 2025.
