From Jail to Film sets: This Journey will shock you!

Bollywood is full of inspiring stories, but some tales go beyond the screen. One such story is that of Veeru Devgan, father of superstar Ajay Devgn. Veeru’s life is a tale of grit, struggle, and transformation.

Born in Punjab, Veeru ran away from home at the age of 13. He navigated the streets of Mumbai, facing hunger, jail, and even dabbling in gang life. A chance encounter with veteran action director Ravi Khanna changed his destiny. Impressed by Veeru’s raw fighting skills, Khanna offered him a stuntman role in films.

Veeru rose through the ranks, becoming one of Bollywood’s top action directors, choreographing stunts for hit films in the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. His story is not just about cinema but about resilience, dedication, and the power of opportunity.

Today, his son Ajay Devgn carries forward his legacy, building his own empire with a net worth of Rs 450 crore. Veeru’s journey reminds us that hard work and perseverance can transform lives, no matter the odds.
