He did it again! Another gold with monster throw at NC Classic 2025!

India's javelin champion Neeraj Chopra achieved a milestone by winning gold at the first-ever Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 at Bengaluru's Sree Kanteerava Stadium. The 27-year-old Olympic and World Champion from Haryana became the first Indian athlete to host and compete in an international athletics event bearing his name, joining elite company alongside Sweden's Mondo Duplantis and Kenya's Kipchoge Keino.

Despite challenging weather conditions and venue changes from Panchkula due to lighting issues, the stadium buzzed with excitement as fans witnessed world-class competition on Indian soil.

The event, delayed following the tragic Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives, ultimately delivered Chopra's vision of bringing international athletics to India while fulfilling his lifelong dream of hosting elite competition domestically.
