A regular regimen of Cleansing, Toning, and Moisturizing (CTM) can enhance skin texture and reduce ageing signs. Use a gentle, pH-balanced cleanser, an alcohol-free toner with soothing ingredients like rose water, and a moisturizer enriched with anti-ageing agents such as hyaluronic acid or peptides. At night, incorporating a retinol-based product can promote cell turnover and collagen production.

 

Incorporate Facial Yoga and Massage

 

Engaging in facial yoga and regular massages can tone facial muscles and improve blood circulation. Traditional practices recommend using natural oils like almond or coconut for massages. Daily exercises, including 'cheek lifts' and 'jaw releases,' can help prevent sagging and maintain skin elasticity.

 

Maintain a Skin-Friendly Diet

 

Diet plays a crucial role in skin health. Consuming foods rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and omega-3 fatty acids—such as fruits, leafy greens, nuts, and seeds—can promote collagen production and reduce inflammation. Turmeric, a common Indian spice, offers potent antioxidant properties beneficial for skin vitality.

 

Ensure Adequate Hydration and Sleep

 

Proper hydration and sufficient sleep are foundational to skin health. Drinking ample water maintains skin elasticity, while 7-9 hours of quality sleep allows the skin to repair and regenerate, reducing the appearance of ageing signs.
