Kanye West has been dropped by his talent agency, 33&West, after making antisemitic comments and selling controversial merchandise on his Yeezy website. Agent Daniel McCartney announced the decision on Instagram, stating that neither he nor the agency could support West's "harmful and hateful remarks."
West further fueled controversy by posting dozens of antisemitic messages on X, including statements like "IM A NAZI" and "I will never apologize for my Jewish comments."
Meanwhile, a Jewish former Yeezy employee filed a lawsuit in California, accusing West of workplace harassment, alleging that she received antisemitic texts-one stating, "Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler." She also claimed to have been sent pornographic material and other disturbing messages.
West's Yeezy website was shut down after Shopify removed it, citing policy violations. Visitors to the site encountered a blank page with the message, "Something went wrong. This store is unavailable." Shopify confirmed that the brand failed to comply with its terms.
The situation escalated when West aired a Super Bowl ad in Los Angeles promoting Yeezy.com, where the only item for sale was a $20 white T-shirt featuring a black swastika.
In response to his posts, X deleted West's account, with Elon Musk confirming that the content violated platform policies. This is not the first time West has faced backlash for antisemitic comments, he lost multiple brand partnerships in 2022 but later apologized, a statement he has now retracted.
