Ashish Nehra, a legendary left-arm pacer from India, has left a lasting mark on the world of cricket. Known for his deadly swing and fighting spirit, Nehra played for nearly two decades and became a fan favorite.
Born on April 29, 1979, in Delhi, Nehra's career was defined by his resilience, especially in overcoming injuries that threatened his career time and again.
One of his most memorable moments came during the 2003 Cricket World Cup, where he stunned everyone with his spell of 6 wickets for just 23 runs against England, still the best World Cup bowling figures by an Indian.
Nehra was also part of the victorious 2011 World Cup team and played in five IPL franchises, winning the 2016 IPL with Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Even after retiring in 2017, Nehra continued to impact the game as a coach, mentoring young bowlers. His journey is a proof of perseverance, proving that with hard work, you can bounce back stronger every time.
