Heartbreaking farewell: Newly‑wed from Rajasthan dies just before reuniting with husband!

In a deeply tragic turn, 21-year-old Khushboo Rajpurohit, a newlywed from Rajasthan’s Balotra district, boarded the ill-fated Air India flight bound for London - her first solo journey to reunite with her husband - only to lose her life when the plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad on June 12.

Khushboo had tied the knot in January 2025, and two months later, her husband - a doctor in the UK - returned home ahead of her final departure. The evening before the flight, she visited Asotra's Brahma Temple to seek blessings, and at the airport, her father captured a heartfelt photo of her final farewell .

Her journey, meant to begin a new chapter of love and hope, was tragically cut short. Family members are now awaiting DNA confirmation to identify her remains, and her passing has deeply affected both her community in Balotra and her in-laws in London.

Khushboo's heartbreaking story is one among many from this devastating crash - ramming home the unpredictability of life and the fragility of dreams mercilessly interrupted.
