Aashi's journey into acting began when composer Abhinav Kaushik approached her mother, Mridula Tripathi, with the idea. After discussing it with Pankaj Tripathi, they decided to support Aashi’s debut.

Pankaj Tripathi expressed his pride, calling it an emotional moment for both parents. “She has always been passionate about performing arts, and seeing her deliver such natural expressions in her first project was truly special,” he said.
