
The first-ever IIFA Digital Awards took place in Jaipur as part of the grand 25th International Indian Film Academy celebrations. This special event honored the best films and web series on OTT platforms, highlighting the growing power of digital entertainment.
With streaming services becoming more popular, the awards recognized outstanding performances, creative storytelling, and the impact of online content.
The biggest winner of the night was Amar Singh Chamkila, which won Best Film. Imtiaz Ali won Best Director for the same film.
Vikrant Massey won Best Actor (Film) for Sector 36, while Kriti Sanon won Best Actress (Film) for Do Patti. In the web series category, Panchayat Season 3 was a fan favorite, winning Best Series. Its director, Deepak Kumar Mishra, won Best Director (Series), while Jitendra Kumar took home Best Actor (Series).
Shreya Chaudhry won Best Actress (Series) for Bandish Bandits Season 2. In supporting roles, Faisal Malik won Best Supporting Actor (Series) for Panchayat Season 3, while Sanjeeda Shaikh won Best Supporting Actress (Series) for Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.
Other winners included Kota Factory Season 3 for Best Original Story (Series), Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous for Best Documentary, and Fabulous Lives Vs. Bollywood Wives for Best Reality Series.
The IIFA Digital Awards celebrated the shift from traditional cinema to online platforms. It proved that digital storytelling is the future, bringing fresh ideas, powerful performances, and exciting new ways to entertain audiences worldwide.
