The rising temperatures in Delhi-NCR over the past few days had left residents struggling with the heat. However, a sudden spell of rain on Thursday morning brought unexpected relief, making the city feel cooler once again.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), this rainfall has led to a noticeable drop in temperature. On Thursday, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may settle between 12 to 14 degrees Celsius. Cloudy skies, strong winds, and light showers are likely to persist throughout the day.
Looking ahead, the weather in the coming days will continue to be significant. Between February 21 and 25, the maximum temperature is predicted to hover around 27 to 28 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may range from 11 to 13 degrees Celsius.
The IMD has also forecast light rainfall and cold winds to continue over the next few days, providing further relief from the recent heat.
Meanwhile, weather changes are also affecting the hilly regions. Parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are expected to experience rainfall in the coming days.
On the other hand, Bengaluru is set to witness a rise in temperature, making it potentially warmer than Delhi in the near future.
This unexpected shift in weather has once again provided a sense of cool relief to Delhi-NCR residents, who had been struggling with the rising heat.
