A shocking incident took place at Mumbai's Borivali railway station when a woman slipped while getting off a moving train. She lost her balance and was dragged along the platform, creating a life-threatening situation. However, a quick-thinking Railway Protection Force (RPF) officer noticed the danger and rushed to save her.
The CCTV footage of the incident shows the woman trying to step down while the train was still in motion. As she slipped, she struggled to hold on, but the speeding train pulled her along.
The RPF officer, standing nearby, reacted instantly, grabbed her, and pulled her to safety just in time. His bravery prevented a major accident, possibly even saving her life.
After the video went viral, people on social media praised the officer for his heroic act. Many also reminded others about the importance of following railway safety rules.
The Ministry of Railways also shared the video, urging passengers to be more careful while boarding and exiting trains.
Despite many safety campaigns, such incidents continue to happen as people underestimate the risks of getting on or off moving trains. This event is a strong reminder that safety must always come first.
The officer's quick action is admirable, but passengers must also take responsibility for their own well-being.
Railway security personnel play a crucial role in protecting passengers, but everyone must follow rules to avoid such dangerous situations. This incident teaches us that a moment of carelessness can be life-threatening, but alertness and awareness can prevent accidents.
