Founded in 2017 by siblings Shruti and Harsha Biswajit, BISKIT is a concept-driven art and design studio with roots in Brooklyn and bases in Madras and Berlin.
Inspired by their experiences in New York and Europe, the duo launched BISKIT to challenge traditional fashion structures by emphasizing concepts over seasonal trends.
Their unisex label blurs gender lines, with a minimalist, sustainable ethos.
Their debut collection, "SPACE," drew from India's space achievements, shifting the narrative away from typical Western portrayals.
Each piece is handmade in their Madras studio using organic, recycled, or deadstock materials, limited to a maximum of 21 editions to ensure uniqueness and reduce waste.
BISKIT also encourages mindful consumption, urging customers to "buy less, use more."
Influenced by the pandemic, the brand has focused increasingly on community, meaning, and slow design.
With no external funding, BISKIT remains independent, an intersection of wearable art, storytelling, and sustainable fashion innovation.
