Only survivor of Ahmedabad crash battles trauma: Under psychiatric care after escaping death!

The sole survivor of the devastating Air India crash in Ahmedabad, Vishwashkumar Ramesh, is currently receiving psychiatric care as he grapples with the immense psychological toll of the tragedy. Pulled out from beneath mangled wreckage hours after the Dreamliner crash, the 28-year-old has not just physical injuries, but emotional scars that run far deeper.

Doctors at the Civil Hospital revealed that while his body is healing, his mind is "severely impacted", showing signs of acute stress disorder and survivor's guilt. Experts have been deployed to offer trauma counseling and around-the-clock psychiatric support.

According to hospital sources, Vishwash has experienced night terrors, flashbacks, and an overwhelming sense of despair since learning that over 240 people perished - including fellow passengers, crew, and civilians on the ground.

His case highlights the invisible wounds left by aviation disasters - ones that may take years to heal. The government has assured full psychological and financial support to aid his long recovery ahead.
