PM Modi: 'sindoor turned to gunpowder' in 22-minute strike

In a decisive move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed that India's armed forces executed Operation Sindoor, a rapid military response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives. Addressing Parliament, Modi emphasized that the operation commenced on the night of May 6-7, targeting and destroying nine terror hideouts within a mere 22 minutes.

The Prime Minister underscored the precision and efficiency of the strikes, stating that the forces dismantled previously considered "impenetrable" targets, thereby showcasing India's resolve against terrorism. He further highlighted the technological prowess demonstrated during the operation, noting that several Pakistani airbases, including Murid and Nur Khan, were incapacitated, effectively placing them in a state akin to being in an "ICU."

Operation Sindoor not only served as a direct retaliation but also sent a clear message against nuclear intimidation, with Modi asserting that India would not succumb to such threats. The swift and strategic execution of the operation reflects a significant shift in India's counter-terrorism approach, emphasizing proactive measures to safeguard national security.

This operation stands as a testament to India's commitment to combating terrorism and protecting its citizens, reinforcing the nation's stance on zero tolerance towards such acts.
