Amid rising tensions between Iran and Israel, the Indian embassies in both countries have issued urgent advisories for Indian nationals following Israeli airstrikes across Tehran. On Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the launch of Operation Rising Lion, stating that Israel had targeted Iran’s key nuclear enrichment site in Natanz and several strategic locations.
In a major escalation, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard chief, Gen. Hossein Salami, was killed in the strikes, along with another senior official and two nuclear scientists.
In response to the evolving crisis, the Indian Embassy in Iran has urged citizens to remain alert, avoid unnecessary movement, and follow local safety guidelines. Similarly, the Indian Embassy in Israel advised citizens to stay vigilant, avoid travel, and stay near safety shelters.
Israel has declared a state of emergency and warned of potential retaliatory attacks by Iran, including threats to civilians. The situation remains tense and volatile, prompting global concern. Indian nationals in both countries are advised to stay connected to embassy updates via social media and official channels for further guidance.
