PM Modi rushes to Ahmedabad crash horror: Heart-wrenching scenes at hospital & ground zero!

On June 13, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi traveled to Ahmedabad to personally assess the aftermath of the horrific Air India Flight AI 171 crash. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner came down just 30 seconds after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport, plowing into a medical-college hostel and residential quarters, killing at least 241 onboard and dozens on the ground - one lonely survivor miraculously pulled from the wreckage .

Modi first inspected the charred crash site in Meghaninagar, where debris and DNA collection efforts continue, before moving on to the Civil Hospital to meet with injured victims and the sole survivor, Vishwashkumar Ramesh. Civil and national agencies - including NDRF teams - have recovered bodies and begun DNA testing to identify victims, while black-box retrieval remains underway . Initial probe findings are focusing on sudden loss of engine thrust, though investigators remain open to other potential causes.

As national grief deepens, Modi's on-site presence underscores the government's resolve to support survivors and families during this tragic aviation disaster.
