Early risers in Karnataka were treated to a jaw-dropping sky surprise-a rare planetary alignment that looked exactly like a smiley emoji! At around 5:30 am, the crescent moon teamed up with Venus and Saturn to create a cheerful celestial formation, turning heads and lighting up social media.
In Udupi, locals gathered with their phones and telescopes, hoping to catch a glimpse of the sky's early morning grin. The waxing crescent moon sat between two sparkling planets, giving it the illusion of a glowing emoji smiling down at Earth-a rare and unforgettable moment.
Astronomy lovers and spiritual seekers alike felt the magic. Many believe that witnessing such phenomena during Brahma Muhurta-a spiritually potent pre-dawn window-amplifies the power of wishes made under the stars.
But while Karnataka got the cosmic grin, residents in Tamil Nadu's Nilgiris weren't as lucky. Despite gathering as early as 4:30 am, they only managed to glimpse a partial display before it faded into the dawn mist by 5:35 am.
Experts say events like these are not just visually stunning-they're deeply symbolic and astronomically rare. If you missed this one, keep your eyes on the skies. The universe clearly has a sense of humor!
