Rekha Gupta Takes Oath as Delhi CM: Meet the 6 Ministers Likely to Join Her Cabinet

Delhi's new Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, is set to take the oath of office today at 12:05 PM, and the anticipation around her cabinet is growing. According to sources, six other leaders are expected to be sworn in as ministers alongside her, marking a significant shift in Delhi’s political landscape.

Among the expected ministers is Pravesh Verma, a firebrand BJP leader who gained prominence after defeating Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency.

His inclusion in the cabinet would solidify the party's hold in the capital. Ashish Sood, a key figure from Janakpuri, is another likely candidate. Known for his clean image and close ties with BJP’s central leadership, he represents the Punjabi community, which plays a crucial role in Delhi's politics.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa, the Rajouri Garden MLA and a well-known Sikh leader, is also expected to join the cabinet. Having transitioned from the Shiromani Akali Dal to the BJP, his appointment would strengthen the party's outreach to Sikh voters.

Ravindra Indraj Singh, a first-time MLA from Bawana, represents the Dalit community and is a rising youth leader in Delhi politics. His potential inclusion signals the BJP's focus on social representation.

Adding to the mix is Kapil Mishra, an MLA from Karawal Nagar, who is recognized for his strong Hindu and Purvanchali leadership. Lastly, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh, an MLA from Vikaspuri and a dentist by profession, is also likely to be part of the cabinet. With these leaders taking charge, Delhi's political dynamics are set for a dramatic transformation.
