India’s drone technology is taking a giant leap forward! Noida-based aerospace startup Raphe mPhibr has secured a whopping $100 million in funding, marking one of the biggest investments in India’s drone and defence tech sector. Founded by Radha Krishnan R, the company specializes in cutting-edge AI-powered drones, thermal imaging systems, and drone swarms designed for defence, agriculture, and industrial use.
The fresh funds will be used to scale up manufacturing, strengthen R&D, and build a high-tech drone factory in Noida. Raphe mPhibr’s drones are already in use by Indian armed forces, making this a key step in India’s push toward self-reliance in defence under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
With AI capabilities that enable self-coordination, these drones can operate in swarms and perform surveillance and tactical operations even in challenging conditions like night missions. The company also has global ambitions, eyeing exports to Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
This milestone reinforces India’s growing influence in drone innovation and defence manufacturing.
