Infosys just launched something That’s turning heads in Tech Industry!

Infosys is taking a significant step to support women professionals returning to work after a career break. The IT giant recently introduced “Restart with Infosys”, a hiring initiative aimed at women who have at least two years of prior work experience and a six-month career gap.

The program provides structured mentorship, skill development, and confidence-building opportunities, helping candidates re-enter the workforce smoothly. Employees referring eligible candidates can earn rewards up to Rs 50,000, depending on the position level, making the initiative beneficial for both candidates and current employees.

This move aligns with Infosys’ ESG Vision 2030, which aims for 45% female representation in its workforce. Currently, women make up 39% of the company’s 3.23 lakh employees. In the past two years, the initiative has hired around 1,400 women for mid-management roles, strengthening the company’s talent pool and promoting inclusion at scale.

Industry experts say that programs like this help companies tap into skilled talent often overlooked, while providing women with opportunities to re-skill and grow in hybrid work environments.

Infosys’ focus on diversity reinforces its position as a “Champion of Inclusion” in the global tech industry.
